There has been several instances having the rear child door lock engaged and we could not open the rear doors from the outside because the actuators failed.
It started with the passenger side lock and now includes the rear hatch.
The contact stated that the vehicle doors could not be unlocked or locked using the key fob or the interior door lock.
When unlocking or locking the doors either with the fob or with the switch on the driver side door these doors intermittently will not lock or unlock.
The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics.
The technician replaced the driver side door lock actuator.
If it opens from the outside check on the door itself near the latch assembly for a little black lever that moves back and forth that is the child safety rear door lock and when engaged wont allow the door to open from the inside setting the lever to free position should allow door to open pg 3 5 of owners manual.
